My name is Roksana, an illustrator, and painter. I grew up in Iran and earned a Bachelor of Education from NHL Stenden University in the Netherlands and a MA degree in Fine Art/ History of Art at Tarbiat Modarres University. My illustrations represent the stories that are inspired "by ancient mythology like one Thousand and one nights, and Persian poems, Masnavi-ye-Manavi by Maulana Rumi." My work also includes fictional landscapes, portraits, and animals. While drawing, I intersperse different materials such as pen, acrylic, and watercolor pencils and use accidental moments in this process to explore ideas.
